SNAC strictly complies with regulations on personal information protection detailed in related legislation, which an information communication service provider must abide by. These acts include the following: Act on the Promotion of Information and Communication Network Utilization and Information Protection, Personal Information Protection Act, Communication Privacy Protection Act, and the Telecommunications Business Act. In addition, the company provides services in compliance with international standards such as the OECD Privacy guidelines.
SNAC collects and uses the personal information based on the user's consent, and guarantees user's right (Information Self-determination).
SNAC complies with the relevant laws, regulations and guidelines of the Republic of Korea which all information and telecommunication service providers must comply with.
"Personal Information Handling Policy" means the guidelines that SNAC must follow to protect users' valuable personal information so that users can be assured while using SNAC’s services.
This privacy statement applies to the SNAC Web and application as well.
In order to provide the service, we collect very limited personal information. During the sign up process and throughout the use of the service, we collect a limited amount of personal information through our homepage, application, or other program to provide the following services.
The personal information that you provide is collected while using the app or a related program. It is gathered through the information gathering tool. Some information is collected via a written form, fax, telephone, consultation bulletin board, e-mail, and/or may be received by our partner companies.
We use personal information only for the following purposes: membership management, service improvement, and new service development. Personal information is utilized to identify users in SNAC, to connect SNAC accounts with a designated service, inviting friends, and providing content, or specific customized services.
Additionally, it is used for various other purposes such as member management and identification, prevention of unauthorized use of services provided by the company, confirmation of intent to subscribe, avoidance of duplicate membership, storage of records for dispute settlement, and organization of complaints.
It can also be used for a variety of purposes such as marketing and advertising, developing and customizing new services provided by the company, providing services according to statistical characteristics, validating services, providing opportunities to participate in events, providing advertising information, identifying access frequency, and showing statistics on service usage.
We only share your information with affiliated group companies to Futurepia. Except for the aforementioned case, SNAC will not share your data with third parties without your prior consent.
Once data is stored on the Blockchain, that record is permanently stored in a chained database. That being said, data can be inserted but never deleted. If you request to delete an account for SNAC, your identity will be permanently stored in the block, preventing anyone from using it by initializing your mobile number, which will prevent your company or others from accessing the block forever.

"Shared Information" is information about you, or relating to you, that is voluntarily shared by you on SNAC. Shared Information may include postings that you make on SNAC (including your public profile, the lists you create, photos, videos and voice recordings as accessed with your prior consent through your device’s camera and/or microphone sensor), and/or any postings from others that you re-post and Location Data and Log Data associated with such postings. Shared Information also includes information about you (including Location Data and Log Data) that others who are using SNAC share about you.
The communications content between you and another user or group of users stored on your device and the devices of the users that you have sent communications to. We do not permanently store this information on our servers and it only passes through our servers so that it can be distributed to the users you have chosen to send communications to.
We will not transfer your Personal Information to any other third parties except as specified below, or in circumstances where you consent to such transfer.
We share your information with selected recipients who have a legal basis and valid jurisdiction to request such data. These categories of recipients include:
government, public, regulatory, judicial and law enforcement bodies or authorities: where we are required to comply with applicable laws or regulations, court orders, subpoenas or other legal processes, or otherwise have a legal basis to respond to a request for data from such bodies, and the requesting entity has valid jurisdiction to obtain your personal information.
SNAC enables certain information to be shared publicly with your SNAC contacts and other users of SNAC. At any time, you can hide your profile from public view and search by unchecking "allow find by phone number, SNAC ID or SNAC email" in your account settings. This means that other users of SNAC will not be able to find you. We refer to this type of information above as Shared Information. Shared Information will remain publicly-available for so long as you or a user that has shared such information retains it. Even after you delete Shared Information, it may still be separately cached, copied, or stored by, or remain public through, other users or third parties who are not affiliated with and not controlled by us.
Where you have requested that we erase your Personal Information that we have made public and there are grounds for erasure, we will use reasonable steps to inform others that are displaying the Personal Information or providing links to the Personal Information to erase it too.
Please carefully consider what you post and communicate through SNAC. In some instances, you may control what access the wider public has to your Shared Information via the privacy settings in SNAC.
We may from time to time send you service-related announcements when we consider it necessary to do so (such as when we temporarily suspend SNAC for maintenance, security, privacy, or administrative-related communications). We send these to your email address or via SMS. You may not opt-out of these service-related announcements, which are not promotional in nature and are used solely to protect your account and keep you informed of important changes to SNAC.
In some jurisdictions, certain types of Personal Information, such as information about your race, ethnic origin, religious or philosophical views, and/or personal health, is characterized as "sensitive" and is subject to stricter regulation than other types of Personal Information. Please note that content and information that you input to SNAC, such as photographs or information about your school or social activities, may reveal your sensitive Personal Information to others.
Before communicating any Personal Information of a sensitive nature within SNAC, please consider whether it is appropriate to do so.
By posting any Personal Information of a sensitive nature within SNAC, you are consenting to such information being available within the controls you have selected (for example, available to the audience of users you select as being capable of viewing your post or profile information).
We use a variety of security technologies and procedures for the purpose of preventing loss, misuse, unauthorized access, or the disclosure of information.
Please be aware that despite our efforts, no data security measures can guarantee 100% security at all times. We do not guarantee the security of SNAC or any information you provide to us through SNAC.
1) The company may collect and use the customer's location data to provide "Location-based services".
2) Personal location data will not be used for any purpose other than the above written purpose.
3) When the purpose of collecting, using, or providing the above personal location data is achieved, personal location data shall be destroyed immediately with the exceptions of provisions that should be preserved in accordance with the law.
4) The company's obligations and customer's rights in relation to other personal location data are subject to “Law on the Protection and Use of Location Information”.
All the Blockchain transactions are verified and recorded in a Blockchain through a distributed consensus network. You acknowledge and agree that the transaction details submitted through the service may get significantly delayed or may not be completed by the Blockchain.
You can view or modify your personal information at any time, and if you do not consent to SNAC's handling of your personal information, you may opt-out. However, in such cases, it may be difficult to use some or all of the services.
For SNAC users under the age of 14, the legal guardian has the right to view or modify the child's personal information, and the right to withdraw the consent of collection and use.
If you requested a correction of errors in the personal information, the concerned information will not be available or disclosed until the correction is made.
If you request to terminate an account, cancel a membership or delete personal information, SNAC will process the concerned information only as indicated in the section regarding period of retention and use of personal information, and will not be viewed or used for any other purpose.
We may, at our sole discretion, suspend or terminate your access to the service without prior notice. In addition, if you violate the terms of this Agreement, your account and other related information and files may be deactivated.
For the purposes of using SNAC, I am aware of the following and agree to provide my personal information to Futurepia and SNAC.

4. Personal information retention and utilization period by Futurepia:
Personal information is retained and used during the period of service provided by Futurepia. Upon completing a user cancellation request (member withdrawal), user contributed information is destroyed so that the identity of the person cannot be excluded, viewed, or used. However, exceptions are as follows: (1) Data usage period minimum as determined by Korean Law. (2) IDs are stored in the Blockchain and therefore cannot be destroyed.
5. Users have the right to refuse consent to provide personal information to third parties. There are no disadvantages to a customer if he or she refuses consent. However, services may not be available or the services may be limited according to the purpose of the service.
I understand and agree to the consent of this third party provision.
SNAC stores and manages your personal information in encrypted form in accordance with related legislation and internal policy for the purpose of safety that will prevent loss, theft, leak, falsification or damage of personal information while handling such information.
Moreover, SNAC does its best to prevent leakage or damage of the user’s personal information by hacking or computer viruses.
In order to protect your personal information, we back up your data from time to time and use the latest anti-virus programs to prevent your personal information or data from being leaked, tempered with, or hacked. SNAC also uses encrypted communication to facilitate safe transmission of personal information on the network.
In addition, SNAC controls external intrusion utilizing intrusion prevention system, and does its best to be equipped with all possible technological instruments to ensure system security.
However, if significant changes are made to user rights, such as those including changes to collection, use of personal information, and disclosure of the information to third parties, notices will be distributed at least 30 days prior to the new changes being implemented.
Your consideration, understanding, cooperation, and suggestions are needed and are highly appreciated in the efforts towards enhancing your experience while using the Services and making SNAC a wonderful application. In the future, while taking into consideration the above mentioned Terms and focusing on providing users with a stable and smooth service, SNAC will continue to provide terms and conditions, operation policies, and information within the scope of these Terms.

First of all, thank you for using SNAC through the web and mobile messenger. These Terms of Service ("Terms") describe the mutual agreement with members and nonmembers of the SNAC community with respect to the use of various SNAC messaging services (collectively, the "Services").
This document contains important information. It is advised to carefully read and understand the Terms before you sign up for the application. By accessing or using any part of SNAC, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions of this agreement, then you may not register for the application or use any of its Services.
1.1 By creating account on SNAC or by using its Services through uploading content, you agree to accept the Terms. These terms and conditions shall consist of mutual agreements between you and SNAC.
1.2 SNAC may modify these terms at any time and will post the updates on the website after the amendments. If the service is used after that, the updated terms are considered to be agreed upon by the user.
1.3 If you agree to these Terms, you will be in contract with SNAC and these supersede any written or oral agreement. You may not modify or amend these terms and conditions except in writing signed by SNAC. If you do not agree to these Terms, you will not be allowed to create an account or use any of the Services provided by SNAC.
1.4 This Terms of Service agreement also includes the applicable agreements, business rules, and other types of rules including the Services that may be disclosed from time to time by SNAC. Once one of these rules is officially released, it should be formed as an important part of this Terms of Service and be complied with it.
2.1 You must be at least 13 years of age to access or use the Services. If you are under 18 years of age (or the age of legal majority where you live), you may only access or use our Services under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to be bound by these terms. If you are a parent or legal guardian of a user under the age of 18 (or the age of legal majority), you agree to be fully responsible for the acts or omissions of such users in connection with the Services.
3.1 When subscribing to SNAC, only one ID per mobile phone number can be registered. This ID can also be used simultaneously to access the Futurepia homepage, messenger app, web service, and Futurepia wallet.
4.1 SNAC account is defined as the login account you need to use SNAC Services. At the time of registration, 4 keys (Master Key, Active Key, Posting Key, Memo Key) will be provided for one account.
4.2 The SNAC account is only accessible by you, and you must not allow others to use it. You should also manage your passwords in a way that no one else can access your account without your permission. If there’s suspicious activity, please notify SNAC customer support immediately. SNAC will not be liable for any loss that may occur as a result of any actions taken by any other user when logging in with your account information.
4.3 All the information you provide to SNAC is entitled to be independently verified by SNAC. However, in this regard, SNAC generally does not perform any verification.
6.1 If you obtain the software or any installation program with the same name as the software from any third party without authorization by SNAC, SNAC cannot guarantee that the software can be used normally and therefore takes no responsibility for any loss caused to you.
6.2 You can obtain the software directly from the SNAC website or from a third party authorized by SNAC.
7.1 SNAC may develop different versions of the software for different terminal devices. You should choose an appropriate version for installation accordingly.
7.2 In order to provide quality and secure services, SNAC may recommend other software to you during your installation of the software, which you can choose to install or not.
7.3 If you no longer need to use the software, or need to install the new version of the software, you can uninstall the software. If you are willing to help SNAC improve the product and services, please inform the reasons for uninstallation.
8.1 In order to improve user experience and service content, SNAC will continue to develop new services and from time to time provide software updates (in the form of software replacement, modification, feature enhancement and version upgrade etc.)
8.2 In order to ensure the security and consistency of functionality of the software and services, SNAC reserves the right to update the software, or change and/or restrict partial functionality of the software without providing any special notice.
8.3 After the new version of the software is released, older versions of the software may not be available. SNAC does not guarantee that old versions and corresponding customer services of the software will continue to be available. Please check and download the latest version at any time.
9.1 Keeping your personal information safe is one of our top priorities. SNAC will collect your personal information as necessary to provide the services in a seamless manner and to improve the user experience.
9.2 Please never allow your ID or password to be used by any third party or person.
9.3 If a user finds out that his/her ID or password has been stolen or is being used by a third party, he/she shall notify customer support immediately and follow the instructions provided on the website.
9.4 SNAC will apply a variety of security technologies and procedures to establish a secure management system to protect your personal information and avoid unauthorized access, use or disclosure.
9.5 SNAC will not disclose your personal information to any company, organization or individual without your consent, except as provided by laws and regulations.
Except as permitted by law or authorized by SNAC in writing, you may not engage in the following acts in the course of your use of the Services:
14.1 You understand and agree that the software, like most Internet software, may be affected by a variety of factors including but not limited to: users’ reasons, network service quality and social environment. Additionally, it may be interfered by various security issues, including but not limited to: illegal use of user information by others to conduct harassment in real life, other software downloaded and installed, and sites visited by the user may contain viruses, Trojans or other malicious programs. which may endanger the security of information and data in your terminal device and then affect the normal use of the software. Therefore, you should strengthen the awareness of information security and protection of personal information, and pay attention to password protection, to avoid any loss.
14.2 You shall not produce, publish, use, and/or spread any malicious program which steals SNAC accounts or other personal information or property.
14.3 It is the common responsibility of you and SNAC to maintain software security and normal use. SNAC will reasonably and prudently take necessary technical measures to protect information and data security of your terminal device in accordance with industry standards, but you acknowledge and agree that SNAC cannot therefore provide a complete guarantee.

17.1 Commercial use of other people’s content by any means such as copying, quoting, or modifying is strictly prohibited. However, it is possible only if you have obtained prior approval.
18.1 These terms and conditions are valid until terminated by the company otherwise. If, for any reason, you want to cancel the agreement to abide by these terms, you may delete your account at any time.
18.2 A breach of any of these terms and conditions that threaten SNAC or any of its users, may result in an account being temporarily blocked or suspended for a certain period of time. In more severe cases, accounts can also be permanently deleted.
18.3 Once you delete your account, you will not be able to access the content that you have created. However, due to the nature of this service and internet, you acknowledge and agree that your content may be retained indefinitely in the cache or backup.
19.1 Customers may not assign their rights nor delegate their obligations under these terms and conditions.
19.2 SNAC reserves the right to disclose, modify, or remove any published information or materials that it deems necessary to meet any applicable law, regulation, and legal procedures.
19.3 You understand and agree that SNAC will send you various news notices and announcements by sending an email or an SMS to the email address or phone number provided during the SNAC account registration process. methods include but are not limited to electronic message within services, an alarm message, etc. Announcements applicable to all users of Services will become effective after being posted on the Notices page of SNAC Services.
19.4 The Terms provided in this document in electronic format (or later on in printed version) should be accepted under the same conditions as any other business document as a record for the relevant judicial and administrative procedures.
19.5 The headings of all the Terms of this agreement are for convenience only and do not have any actual meaning. They shall not be taken as a basis for the interpretation of the meaning of this agreement.
19.6 This Terms of Service agreement may be made and executed in various languages, including Chinese and English. In case of any inconsistency and conflict between the Chinese and other language versions, the Korean version will serve as the reference.
Your consideration, understanding, cooperation and suggestions are needed and will be highly appreciated as the basis towards enhancing your experience while using the Services and making SNAC a wonderful application. Consider the above-mentioned terms, in order for its users to enjoy a stable and smooth service. SNAC will keep on providing Terms and conditions, operation policy, and information on each service, as well as provide customer center help and customer support within the scope of these Terms.
